Part-time Positions

Pay scale negotiable based on contract length, experience, and education.
All positions require a minimum one-year contract.

  • Art Instructor: call for details.
  • Violin, Viola, Cello Instructor: strong, positive role model who loves working with children and adults. Must have ability to instruct beginning through advanced students. In addition to lessons, instructor may need to do chamber ensemble coaching as well. This is an hourly position, and a minimum two-year contract is required. Pay scale is dependent upon experience and education.
  • Guitar Instructor: strong, positive role model who loves working with children and adults. Must have experience teaching a variety of guitar styles with a well-rounded music curriculum, ability to teach other instruments (banjo, bass, piano, etc) a plus. Must be organized, responsible, and have reliable transportation. Schedule and hours flexible to the individual. Two-year contract required.
  • Music Therapist: music therapist will be required to develop and implement services in coordination with the client's service plan. MT-BC will submit monthly progress notes toward goals and objectives, as well as an annual report including recommendations. MT-BC will be responsible for submitting monthly billing forms to receive payment. This is an hourly position and a minimum two-year contract is required.
  • Percussion Instructor: strong, positive role model who loves working with children and adults. Must have experience teaching a variety of drum styles with a well-rounded music curriculum. Interest in working with student rock bands a plus. Must be organized, responsible, and have reliable transportation. Schedule and hours flexible to the individual. Two-year contract preferred
