Participating in music enhances bonding between baby and caregiver while encouraging the discovery of

TODDLER TUNES (18mo-3yrs)

The repetition of familiar tunes, dances, and books stimulates the toddler’s learning. The more toddlers
learn the words and can predict the movements, the stronger the connection in the brain! Come share
this time with your toddler singing and dancing to your favorite songs and learning new tunes!
MUSIC & ME (3-4yrs)

This preschool music class encourages your young child to create, learn, play, and express himself
through music fun. Classes include instrument play, songs, movement activities, and so much more!
KIDS-N-KEYS (5-6yrs)
SESSION 1: Tuesday/Thursday June 3-June 19, 9-9:45am
SESSION 2: Mondays, July 14-August 18, 10-10:45am
This class involves children in activities such as singing folk songs, learning to play simple instruments,
and introduces them to reading and writing simple music notation and early keyboard skills. This is
great prep for private piano lessons. Materials included.
LANGUAGE LEARNER MUSIC CLASS (24-36 months)
Mondays, July 7-August 11, 1-1:45pm
This class is geared toward the 24-36 month old child with language concerns or delays. A board-
certified music therapist will design activities based on familiar and new songs to increase receptive and
expressive language skills in addition to social and academic skills.
EXPRESSIVE LANGUAGE MUSIC CLASS (3 - 5 yrs)
Mondays, July 7-August 11: 2-2:45pm
This class is designed for the 3-5 year old child who has speech or social concerns. A board-certified
music therapist will design activities using folk, familiar, and new songs, to give children opportunities to
expand expressive language, increase social awareness, and improve academic skills.
CHAMBER MUSIC CAMP (intermediate to advanced-violin, viola, cello)
Week-long class, August 11-15, 6-8pm
Learn to play in a string quartet and find out why famous soloists say their favorite type of playing is
chamber music! String students will participate in coached rehearsals while learning works by Baroque
and Classical composers. Sheet music rental fee is included.
GROUP GUITAR CLASS (9-15) (age groups determined by enrollment)
Session 1: Wednesdays, June 11-July 16, 3:30-4:15pm
Session 2: Wednesdays, July 23-August 27, 3:30-4:15pm
This beginning guitar class is perfect for the student with an interest in the guitar and the parent with
reservations about their child’s lasting commitment to the study. It is recommended that students have
their own guitar for use during the class and practice at home. Materials included.
LITTLE VOICES
Mondays, July 14-August 11,11-11:45am
The littlest singers come together and get their first lessons in song. This class introduces music
notation and beginning singing techniques through instrument play and fun music games. The Little
Voices choir will put on a show for family and friends the last day of class.
BEGINNING SINGING FOR KIDS (6-12 yrs)
Monday-Friday – 6/16-6/20, 6-8 years 1-2pm, 9-11 years 2-3pm.
Play cool music games, build confidence in your voice, increase your projection and perform group and
solo songs. A small recital for family and friends featuring our talented Beginning Singers will be held
on the last day of camp.
TEEN SINGERS (12-18yrs)
Monday-Friday August 4-August 8, 12-12:45pm
Classes will focus on basic techniques of singing, breathing, projection, confidence, correct vocal
function, group and solo singing. No pressure! Just getting to know your voice and opening up a little.
For beginners and advanced vocalists alike.
BEGINNING PIANO (6-11yrs)

Perfect for the student with an interest in the piano and the parent with reservations about their

POP PIANO (intermediate-level players)

Learn the techniques and chord progressions that will make you a hit at all the parties! Chris will teach
you the secrets to playing all your favorite radio tunes during this one-week class.
PIANO FOR THE INSANELY BUSY ADULT (18 yrs and up)

For those adults who would like to take lessons, but don’t have the time to make a yearlong
commitment to regular practice. Enjoy 6 weeks of music making with “no strings attached!” Materials

SONGWRITING (10 and up)

Exposes the student to beginning concepts in music composition: basic theory, notation, transposition,
arranging, and more! Numerous compositions will be created over the course of the camp, including
recording your own song to a CD! Prerequisite: at least one year of instrument study.
FORM AND ANALYSIS (Grades 8-Adult)

Discover the structure behind classical music’s greatest hits! You’ll never listen to a piece of music the
same way again. Private lesson study will be enriched by learning to analyze music and describe it in
writing. Some music theory knowledge is required.

Learn to express yourself through paint on canvas in this three-day class. Watch the images in your

Draw and paint characters and scenes from your own creative stories. Learn how to illustrate your

LEARN TO DRAW (Grades 2-5)

Take your drawing skills to a new level! Learn the secrets in becoming a better artist through
techniques that never fail. Each class will build your skills and knowledge on becoming a better
artist. Draw with pencil, markers, color pencils and oil pastels to create dramatic images that will be

Learn the secrets of creating realist and stylized art using the tricks of the trade. Feel your art skills
are lacking? Rich will show you methods to drastically improve your skills. The class will cover
drawing and painting using many different materials. Draw or paint what you want—the class will show

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY (Middle and High School)

Do you love taking pictures but aren’t getting the results you want? Learn how to take dramatic,
stylized photos like the pros! The student must bring their own camera. If access to a camera is not

FUTURE FASHION DESIGNERS WANTED (Middle and High School)
Mondays, August 11, 18, 25, 4-6pm
Learn how to create your own line of clothing. Using stencils, spray paint, dye, and silkscreen, Rich will
teach you how to produce your own-shirts, pants, and hats T-shirts provided, but all other supplies
must be purchased by the student. Supply list will be provided upon enrollment.
INTRO TO SCREEN PRINTING (Middle and High School)

This class is an introduction to silk-screening methods. Learn how to make your own t-shirts and
posters. Supplies included.
BEGINNERS SILKSCREEN CLASS (High School -Adult)

Go in-depth through the process of screen printing; learn poster production, t-shirt design, and other
art forms. The class will also show you how to create screen printing projects in your home. Price
includes supplies, screens, and open studio time.
BASIC ADULT DRAWING CLASS (Adults)

If you have the drawing itch, but are making up excuses not to scratch it, this class is your cure. A laid
back atmosphere will help you relieve you of our fears of drawing. The class will focus on teaching you
the skills to draw with confidence. Rich will break drawing down to its simplest form while building up

INTRODUCTION TO ACRYLIC PAINTING (Adults)

Soft pastels are fun to use, versatile, and
very expressive. You will complete three
different works in one day, as well as learn
how to use solvents and fixatives to en-

THEATER EXPLOSION (8-12yrs)
Week-long class, July 28-August 1, 12-1pm
There are stories everywhere, and yours is just waiting to be found! Students will study character
development, read through scenes, and participate in an intense acting experience. Theater starts
with a good story—come explore with us.
ACTING FOR LITTLE ONES (4-6yrs)

Does your child possess a theatrical flair? Does he or she enjoy musical fun and games? Come and
join the fun as we explore together the world of children's theater through
music, storytelling and group activities. Classes are designed to encourage
social skills, coordination, and self esteem as well as an early awareness of
theater and drama.
ALL CAMPS stress a non-competitive atmosphere within a structured daily schedule. Participants will receive additional information upon enrollment. Additional camp dates and times may be added if maximum enrollment is exceeded.
