Kyle Peterson brings an integrated perspective as both a local student and teacher to his studio pupils.
Embracing music at the age of 9, Kyle studied in the Madison Metropolitan School District, at UW Summer Music Clinic, and with private tutors. At Madison Memorial High School, he played euphonium in the school's Concert, Jazz and Pep Bands.
Kyle went on to UW-Eau Claire where he graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education (Instrumental emphasis). During his 4 years with the University's BASSically Brass Ensemble, Kyle performed throughout the Upper Midwest and in Germany and Hungary for a European Tour. Prior to graduation, Kyle prepared and performed a Senior Recital with a range of classical and contemporary compositions featuring both live and electronic elements.
Kyle has returned to both Madison Metropolitan School District, where he teaches music, and to the UW Summer Music Clinic as a Counselor and Instructor.
