LINDA KRUEGER

Piano, Woodwinds, Choir Director

Linda has served as church musician in Madison for the last 18 years, working as principal organist, pianist, choir and instrumental ensemble director. She received a Bachelor of Music degree from Mankato State University in Minnesota with majors in Music education, Clarinet and Organ. In addition, she is Musikgarten trained and has experience teaching preschool and elementary music classes.

Linda came to Wisconsin to do music graduate studies at UW-Madison and has made Madison her home. The rich musical opportunities and high regard for the arts present in this community are motivations for involvement - supporting creativity! It is energizing to be a part of the learning process. Outside of the classroom, Linda is an experienced folk dancer--specializing in English Country, Contra, Scandinavian and Irish set dancing.

Linda is an active member of the American Guild of Organists - Association of Church Musicians; Early Childhood Music and Movement Association; Choristers Guild; American Guild of English Handbell Ringers; Madison Area Piano Teachers Association.
