STEPHANIE ENRICO

Cello

Stephanie is a native of Sandy, Utah. She graduated in 2005 with her bachelor's degree in cello performance from the University of Northern Colorado. While there, her piano trio won the Southard Convocation Competition award in the chamber music category; she was a finalist in the solo category of the same competition, and she was a finalist in the Rocky Mountain Concerto Competition. She's also a member of the National Music Honor Society, and graduated cum laude. At UNC, Stephanie studied cello with Jim Fittz. Stephanie has just completed the first year of her master's degree at the University of Wisconsin, studying with Uri Vardi. Some of her summer activities for the past few years have included completing the Suzuki teacher training for book one, teaching cello at the Inspiration Point Fine Arts Colony String Camp in northwest Arkansas, and participating in a cello festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. For fun, Stephanie loves to read, travel, and play ultimate frisbee.
