A native of Fond du Lac, WI Tracy has studied piano for twelve years. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in December 2005 summa cum laude. There she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree-piano emphasis and minored in Religious Studies. As an undergraduate she studied piano with Dr. Molly Roseman and both theory and composition with Dr. Charles Rochester Young.
With six years of hands-on experience, Tracy started teaching piano lessons in high school and continued in college working as a private instructor for both the Conservatory for Creative Expression and Mitchell Piano Works. These work experiences have exposed to her a large spectrum of student ages, learning styles, playing abilities, and personalities. Every student helps her to see things in a different light and she enjoys finding new ways to teach.
She is a certified Musikgarten® instructor for Family Music for Babies and Toddlers as well as Cycle of Seasons. Tracy is a member of both Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and Pi Kappa Lambda, a national music honor society.
