Rhapsody Arts Center's theater and creative writing classes will inspire your imagination while developing acting and other creative skills. Classes available may vary per semester.

Rhapsody’s theater program consists of a sequence of classes leading to a performance in early March. Classes and rehearsals take place on Saturday mornings and students must be willing to attend a majority of the rehearsals to participate in the performance.
Acting I: for beginners ages 7-13, Sat. 9/15 10:30-11:30, Max. 12, Min. 3, $10/student
Acting II: for students with acting experience, ages 7-13, Sat. 10/6 10:30-11:30 Acting I students welcome!! Max. 12, Min. 3, $10/student
Acting III: Acting I and II are prerequisites for this class (students may also enroll with instructor recommendation). A tips and tricks lesson on auditioning will be included in the curriculum. This class is a prerequisite for the auditions held in November. For students wanting more in-depth acting instruction. Sat. 10/20 10:30-12:30 Max. 12, Min. 3, $15/student

Price to participate in performance: $45/student (covers costumes, props, and scripts)
8 rehearsals on Saturdays 10:30-11:30am (dress rehearsal will be on March 1st from 10:30-12:30)
Everyone is welcome to audition and everyone
who auditions will receive a part. There will be a sign-up
sheet for audition times two weeks before the auditions.
Acting III is a prerequisite for the auditions (or instructor
recommendation). Rehearsals will be held on Saturdays
for a March 8 show at Rhapsody Arts Center.
